Text Format

Hi Fauzidar,

Just below the description window, there should be a drop down menu that says "text format" or "input format" where you can choose from:
• filtered html
• plain text
• full html

-->Try selecting "Full HTML"
-->Save the page
and see if that fixes it.

Maybe...

Hi Fauzidar,

Sorry my last post wasn't too helpful. I'm glad you figured it out. I'm not exactly sure what your new issue is, but here are a few ideas (are you testing out a new Text Format that you created - or just using Full HTML?):

  1. (*If you are using Full HTML... this isn't your problem. ) It could be if you are using your own text format, that you haven't allowed the tag you are using in the "filter settings" under the Configuration Page -> Text Formats? When you go there, does it allow the tags (like span and underline)?
  2. Are you using a tag that the WYSIWYG is seeing as a bad tag and auto-correcting (removing it)? For example, for your italics, are you using "<i>" or "<em>"? I've found that some drupal WYSIWYG don't like all tags... so maybe try a different tag.
  3. It could be a theming or preprocess issue that is overriding your span? Checkout chapter 13 "How to use Firebug to inspect any element" and it should help you track down this issue.

As you can tell - I'm still new to much of this - so sorry if none of this is helpful.
