Suggestion: Collapsible video categories
Chris,
Awesome site brother... I send at least a person a week to learn.
I had a UI suggestion for the library. It would be nice to have the major sections collapse and remember your settings. Also I believe if you wanted to take it one step further, having the active category you are watching append itself below the video would be nice as well. I find myself scrolling throughout the page trying to find where I left off.
Cheers!

Good call, thank you for the feedback on this. I have some ideas for upcoming interface changes, and will post back here where I'm ready to get some testing done on them.
Thank you!
Chris
this would indeed come in very handy.. have done a LOT of scrolling the last couple of days.
Hi Frederik,
Just in case you haven't seen it, there's a list icon in the upper right hand corner of the video player that you can click to display an overlay of the videos in the current chapter. That will save on scrolling until I can get collapsible collections in there. :)
Cheers!
Chris
Thank you for your patience everyone, today I added a tool to allow you to show just the collection you want to work on. If you wouldn't mind, go ahead and give it a try and let me know what you think.
To collapse other collections:
- Hover over the title of the collection
- Clock on the "Show just this collection" tab
To expand them all, just do the same thing again, though the text will read "Show all collections".
Let me know if this does the trick.
Cheers!
Chris
this works great for me - thanks Chris!
yep, I am aware you can load the library you want to see as an overlay, but to have the groups collapsible would provide a more intuitive layout with less scrolling (as scrolling is still preferred to the overlay)
