I am currently an ASP.NET developer but wanting to get more involved with Drupal and hence that's why I joined this site.

I have a new development project that I'm thinking of building in Drupal but would appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Here's a summary of what the site will do:

  1. Users can register to access the site
  2. They can create a project record
  3. Within a project a CSV file can be uploaded and the system will analyse the file, create a content type based on its structure and then load the data for that content type. This is only accessible to the specific user that uploaded the file.
  4. User can click on a button that will randomly pick one of the records uploaded.

Do you think Drupal is a good fit for this and capable? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Jonathan, What you

Hi Jonathan,

What you described is definitely something that can be done in Drupal. The import part of it sounds like it matches up well with the Feeds module.
