Missing Manage Fields Link on Content Type Pages

Hi:

New to Drupal. Working through videos. Got to part on content and the fields to "manage fields" is missing from the list of operations. I only see edit and delete.

Also when I created a new content type there was no option for menu at the bottom of the options to select.

Also I do see any menu options on any of my created content.

I am logged in with my same login that was the admin one I set up with.

Any ideas of what I changed and how to change it back?
