How to use Komodo Edit/IDE with Drupal 7 (and Acquia's DAMP stack)
I was watching the D6 video on using Komodo Edit. I've been struggling to get Komodo Edit to even work with the Acquia D6 DAMP stack. It's not able to locate PHP on my machine. Has anyone been able to get these to work together?
And does anyone know if using Komodo Edit or IDE has changed when it comes to D7?
I saw that article while trying to figure out how to get komodo edit setup with the DAMP stack. Right now my issue is that when I click on the Check Configuration link of the komodo start page, it tells me the PHP syntax checking is not functional. I'm assuming it can't find the php that comes with DAMP.
It worked fine for me on OSX (10.6). I couldn't get it to work on Windows 7. Got the same error you did. And pointing Komodo at DAMP's php gives the error that Komodo thinks DAMP's php is broken.
I forgot to mention in my original post that I'm using Windows 7 x64. I'm guessing then that therein lies the incompatibility. Any suggestions on how to fix or get around this issue?
I found this guide http://robshouse.net/article/xdebug-komodo-and-acquia-drupal-stack-insta... that I may try on my hackIntosh later today.
