Is there a BAM video that walks one through updating from the Installed Version to the Recommended Version without using Drush? I am still a newbie and almost finished with Build your first D7 website and will start Advanced Site Building in D7 next. Thanks!

OK, about a month has gone by and no reply. Back with D6, I had updated core a few times but that was a long time ago and over time, I experienced site problems. I have no idea if those problems were related to my updates or what have you.

I found and followed the instructions on the following video and have now updated 3 D7 installations. So far so good.

And FYI, I use FileZilla.

Good luck!
