I am upgrading a Drupal 6 site to Drupal 7. There is a custom module in this site and in one of the .module files they used a db_placeholders() function in a DB INNER JOIN query. As Drupal 7 has discontinued this function, could anyone tell me how I could replace it in the query? The information I found online so far has not been very useful.

Thank you.
