You can purchase any number of membership credits in order to manage your entire organization with a single membership.

Each user keeps their own account, but you can assign them access using the central membership. You can also re-assign credits at any time, purchase additional credits, or drop credits to scale with your organization.

All you need to do to use a group membership is purchase more than one membership initially, or add credits to your membership later. As soon as you have more than one credit, your membership is automatically upgraded to a group membership.

Samples are available for the video products, so we hope you get a good feel for the style before you decide to make a purchase. However, if you are unsatisfied with your product, just drop us an e-mail within 60 days of your purchase and we'll get you a full refund. If you purchase a DVD or any other tangible goods, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. You can cancel a membership at any time, and the membership will continue until the end of the current billing cycle and then stop. We do not typically offer partial refunds for a membership canceled part way through a billing cycle.

The license covers a single viewer per download or DVD purchase. License extensions can be purchased for $20 which will extend the license to one additional viewer per download or DVD. The HD is definitely more pleasant to look at and it has a higher sound quality, while the standard version is good enough for picking out the important details and following along. The standard version is optimized for web viewing, but it's still pretty high resolution - particularly for the web - at 960x600.

To further optimize for a speedy download, the sound quality is bumped down to about 64kb (still not bad for the web) and the frame rate is set at 8 frames a second, which makes it look a bit more like anime and less like a soap opera. The HD downloads are about twice the file size, with double the sound quality and a natural, smooth frame rate that tops out at around 30 frames per second. The dimensions also match size of the screen recorded on, 1280x800, which means that if you play it at full size, it will look a lot like your looking right at someone else's screen.

For those of you with mobile devices, the HD videos work well on the iPad 3, but you will need SD videos for the iPad 1 and 2.

No, we're not sadistic, it's just that we follow the Drupal coding standards and use Unix-style line endings, which means that if you're opening a file in a Windows application like Notepad, it will look a little funny. Just try opening it in another editor and you should be good to go!

There may be two issues with unzipping one of our downloads on Windows. One is a character limit for paths. The way to get around this is to unzip the files into a folder near your root directory. For example, unzipping into C:/Videos should work just fine. The second is that a couple of the video titles have question marks in them (which Windows doesn't like so much). Using the 7-Zip application will correct these file names as they are extracted. WinZip has also worked for some people.

If you do this and don't get an e-mail, first check your junk mail to make sure it didn't get caught by a spam filter. If it's not in there, then we probably have a bad e-mail address for you. Send your username and the correct e-mail address to http://buildamodule.com/contact.

If you got an e-mail, you should be able to log in using the one-time login link. Once you have logged in, go ahead and change your password.

If you log out after this point and can't get back in, even though you just reset your password and were able to log in successfully, try logging in with your username first, and then with your email address. If neither works, contact us with your username and email address at http://buildamodule.com/contact.

If something looks strange or unusual on Build a Module.com, it's most likely because we've made an update to the site and your browser has cached some old files. So a good first step is to clear your browser caches and see if that does the trick. If it doesn't, please send us an e-mail and we'll figure out what's going on. And in the meantime, please accept our apologies for the ugly.

You should have gotten an invoice via e-mail, and on the invoice should be a list of items you purchased. Below each download will be a Begin download now link. Just click this and you should be good to go.

We roll out around 5 new videos every week, usually as part of a collection that we're releasing over time to our membership. So on the home page when you view the full list of videos, there will usually be a collection that is not yet complete. So, we mark it as 'currently being released' so you know that as you reach the end of the currently available videos, that there are more on their way.
