This is the full 1000+ video library on a single page. This makes it easy to browse, and you will also get to see which videos you've watched to keep track of where you're at.
You can play a video by clicking on a link. If you do it will open a video in the overlay.
The Video Overlay
This is what the video overlay looks like. There are several icons here to enhance your experience. For example, you can change the playback speed, mark the video as 'completed', and add it to a playlist (more about playlists shortly).
This is a full transcript of the video. All of our videos have a full transcript, and you can click on any text to navigate to that section of the video. You can also right-click to copy a link to any part of the video.
The transcript is a great way to use a different part of your brain when learning!
The video library is split into different 'collections'. Each collection includes coverage of a particular topic, like building your first Drupal site, theming in Drupal or how to code in PHP.
The Collection Jump Menu
When you scroll down, you'll see this toolbar at the top of the page. This jump menu will take you to any of the collections we offer. Looking at the index is a great way to get a feel for the subjects covered.
Clicking the 'Playlist' button will allow you to build and modify a playlist. Playlists can be used to build a link or HTML list of videos to share with your team, or to keep around for your own reference.
Mark Videos Complete
BuildAModule keeps track of which videos you've watched and displays them with a green background on this page. But, you can also mark videos as complete with this button, or by using the icon in the overlay.
This is the 'resume' button, to start from the point where you left off in your last viewing session.
You can use this input to search videos or pages on BuildAModule. To do a deep search the video transcripts of the videos, click the arrow button next to the input.
When you're ready to become a member, you can click this or visit the pricing page.
Play the Welcome Video
This concludes the tour! To get started, consider watching this welcome video from the creator of BuildAModule, or just take a look at the video list for something that looks interesting. Thank you and have fun!
