Hi, I am thinking of signing up and wondering how much PHP knowledge is required to start the Core Concept tutorial.
I have very basic knowledge, but wondering if I should spend a few weeks brushing up on that before I start, or whether the tutorials take you through what you need to know.

As a newbie, coming to Drupal with a few years programming and experience in Perl, I have not found it an issue. I'm learning PHP as I'm learning Drupal. I read somewhere that some publishing module developers have very little PHP knowledge. If you have some programming experience then I suggest you take my approach.
Having said that, the more you know the better but I would not postpone your Buildamodule.com studies in order to further your PHP knowledge. The only exception I would make is to take a little time looking at arrays in PHP as they are so heavily used in Drupal.
And no, I am not on the Buildamodule.com pay-role, I'm just a punter like yourself ;)
